A ROMAN TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP

c. 2nd-3rd Century A.D.

The lamp is composed of a round body and a round nozzle with a ring base. The discus is pentagonal is form and sunken with a central, small, fill hole. The shoulders of the lamp are decorated with repeating scrollwork.

In very good and original condition. Natural patina present. Found in Samaria.
