A glass vessel with an ovoid body, a cylindrical neck, a flaring rim and a knob base. Two applied handles between the neck and shoulder. Composed primarily of dark blue glass with additional decoration. A marvered and tooled yellow and turquoise zigzag pattern appears on the body with a yellow band above and a yellow and turquoise band below, just above the base. Yellow bands have also been applied on the rim of the vessel and on the knob base.
In excellent and original condition.
Similar examples found at several world class museums including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and The Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
