A ROMAN GREEN GLASS JAR

Produced in Roman Syro-Palestine manufacture this vessel is composed primarily of the globular body which would have held the contents of the vessel. The neck is short and constricted; a tubular flange above delineates the bottom of the wide rim of the vessel which is slightly flared at the top.
In excellent condition with natural iridescence present.
