A ROMAN TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP

Composed of a round body with a small nozzle on a ring base. An ovolo band decorates the shoulders with a linear band on the edge of the discus. The discus was broken before use in antiquity for reasons of religious purity so the discus decoration, if any, can not be ascertained. Finished with a red slip.
In very good and original condition with natural patina present.
