A BYZANTINE TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP WITH GREEK INSCRIPTION

This mold-made oil lamp sits on a ring base with a raised rim around the fill hole. A stylized palm tree or tree of life motif is above the nozzle and the Greek inscription "The Light of Christ shines for all" is present on the shoulders.
In fine condition with mostly clear inscription and natural patina present.
