A BYZANTINE TERRACOTTA OIL LAMP WITH GREEK INSCRIPTION

This mold-made oil lamp sits on a ring base with a raised rim around the fill hole. A stylized palm tree or tree of life motif is above the nozzle and the Greek inscription â€śthe light of Christ shines for allâ€ť is present on the shoulders.
In fine condition with clear inscription and natural patina present. A few small ancient cracks on the body of the lamp.
