A RARE ROMAN BRONZE BALANCE SCALE

Composed of a central bronze beam with knife shaped fulcrum and two hanging pans attached with ancient chains. Despite its utilitarian purpose, it was nonetheless crafted with beautiful details we can still appreciate today.
In excellent condition with natural patina present.
