A BYZANTINE FOOTED FLASK

This lovely and decorative flask is free blown using pale green glass. The body is spherical, the neck is long and cylindrical and terminates in a funnel mouth with a rounded rim. The entire vessel stands on an applied foot. Decoration of the flask is limited to applied dark trailing wound around the mouth.
In excellent condition with natural iridescence present.
