A CANAANITE CLAY OIL LAMP

This clay oil lamp is a very rare survival from over 4000 years ago in exceptional condition. It is comprised of a single spout with a flat botton and a deep bowl. Made with thin walls only about 5 mms thick. With no trace of soot this lamp was most likely never used. Found in Samaria (biblical Shomron).
