A CANAANITE BLACK SLIP JUGLET FROM THE HOLY LAND

Late Cypriot I; c. 1650-1450 BC
Composed of a spherical body on a flattened base with an elongated, slender neck terminating in an everted rim. A handle is present from the neck of the vessel to the shoulder with a pellet placed between the neck and handle. The juglet is finished with a black burnished slip.
In excellent and original condition.
